Beware of Personal Injury “Specialists”

In this world, people always tell other people, “go to the specialist”!  That may work when you see a surgeon who specializes in “brain surgery” or “back surgery” , but it really doesn’t apply to Personal Injury Law. I cut my teeth as a young lawyer working for insurance companies and large corporations doing personal injury defense work and medical device litigation. I can handle a Personal Injury  case as well as (and probably better than) most of the firms who advertise on T.V. or on the internet. Why? Because the only thing I specialize in doing the work all by myself. I don’t give it to a paralegal or another lawyer and I don’t have nor do I want a large volume of these type of cases. Sometimes “less” is better. I would rather do “custom” work on a particular file than “cookie cutter” work on a large number of files.
