Over the next several years we are going to see the largest transfer of wealth from the WWII generation to their children and grandchildren. We are also in a time when most “baby boomers” unlike their parents either failed to save for retirement or went broke paying for their children’s education. This has created a difficult problem that I see every day where siblings who were once close- go to “war” over their inheritance. It does not have to be that way.
